100 THINGS
9 December 07

Last night I finally saw my favorite band of 2007 at the Showbox, just under the wire: Yeasayer

They are awesome, awesome, awesome. I’ve told a few people that 2080 (click on 2080, duh) restores my faith in humanity. Hyperbole? Judge for yourself. And Sunrise is a very, very close runner-up for humanitarian effort of the year.

It has been an unbelievably long time since I’ve wanted to stand all the way up front for any band, ready to jump onstage at the slightest encouragement. Hillary and I jumped up and down, twirled around, made up lyrics for the parts we didn’t know and shook our asses until 2.00 am.

Somebody help me please.
