Not the Northern Lights. This is just before the light show. Originally went out for long exposures by the light of the moon and got really lucky with the Northern Lights. This is facing a tiny little artist colony. Literally: there's 4 or 5 artist stugor across an inlet from the Akvarellemuseet (watercolor museum) in Skärhamn. Should have exposed this longer, but my fingers almost froze off. Still don't have a remote for long exposures and must manually press the shutter as long as I want it exposed. But it's worth it. D100: f3.5, 40seconds, 24mm, daylight whitebalance
